I have always enjoyed nature. There is something about being outdoors with the sun upon your face. Many of my trips to different places involve being out in some form of nature. It may be anything from my yard or to a far off place (like my wife’s native Hawaii). Many of these excursions include my camera.

From the time I was young I have loved photography. From the time I clicked my first exposure I saw things a little differently. As a child I would often see things others overlooked. Such as a four-leaf clover in a sea of green clover leaves. I have always looked deeper into the world around me. I observe the details, the light, the patterns, and see compositions, things others might not readily notice. As many people lead increasingly busy lives it is easy to overlook the small details of life. I like to bring these small details back to peoples lives, such as the beauty of taking a slow deep breath and taking in a little of the world around you. My pictures have always been a way of self-expression for me. In them the viewer can see my vision of the subject matter. What I feel is the pure beauty of the object.
